What data we process
- "Open a request" form: first and last name, company or organization, e-mail, phone, topic and text of the request, form language, IP address and date and time of sending.
- Browsing: web server logs and visit statistics, described on the Privacy and cookies page.
Why, and on what basis
- To handle your request and any support relationship: pre-contractual measures or performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To protect the site and the form from abuse and attacks: legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Name, e-mail and description are needed to reply: without them the request cannot be handled.
Where it is kept, and for how long
Data is processed on servers managed directly by RINUX and is neither published nor passed to third parties for commercial purposes. Requests remain in the support system for the duration of the relationship and afterwards for as long as required by law or to protect legal rights. Technical logs are kept for at most 12 months, unless needed to investigate abuse.
Your rights
You can ask at any time for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of your data (Articles 15 to 22 of the Regulation) by writing to privacy [at] rinux.it. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
